The Tahoe Rim Trail Association, Friends of Incline Trails and the Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association are teaming up to build the Incline Flume Trail. Following the gentle grades of the historic course of the Incline Flume that gave Incline Village its name, this trail will be suitable for beginner and intermediate bikers, hikers, trail runners and equestrians looking for great views of Lake Tahoe and the Basin. The trail will connect Mt. Rose Highway with Tunnel Creek Road at a lower elevation than the Tahoe Rim Trail. Work will run the gamut from basic sidehill bench rehab and brushing to technical rock construction.
