Other Ways to Give
Workplace Giving
WORKPLACE GIVING
Each year, approximately $4.8 billion is donated to America's charities through workplace giving campaigns. Workplace giving is a way for employees to donate to charitable organizations of their choice, primarily through payroll deductions.
Your contribution to the Tahoe Rim Trail Association through workplace giving helps the Tahoe Rim Trail Association to spend less time fundraising and more time building and maintaining hiking trails, and providing trail use programs.
Here’s how you can give:
Combined Federal Campaign - If you are a government, state, or local employee, if you participate in the United Way (donor choice) campaigns, or if your company conducts its own annual workplace giving drive, then designating TRTA to receive your workplace contributions is another important way to help support our mission: to maintain and enhance the Tahoe Rim Trail system.
United Way – If your workplace participates in a United Way campaign, you may also be able to give to the Tahoe Rim Trail. If so, you can still help by designating the Tahoe Rim Trail Association under the Donor Designation Program. Just write in TRTA as your charity of choice.
If the Tahoe Rim Trail Association is not listed by your employer in your workplace giving campaign, you can designate TRTA in the “Specific Organization” or “donor option” section of your United Way pledge form.
