“For over 25 years, I have been a resident of the Lake Tahoe region and have had the privilege of enjoying the outdoors and especially on the Tahoe Rim Trail. The trail is a valuable and unique recreational resource and a major asset to our community. I want to ensure that the Tahoe Rim Trail system is properly maintained and protected for use by family, friends, and visitors. I have become a member of the Tahoe Rim Trail Legacy Circle so my gift will help ensure the trail is protected for future generations to enjoy.” –Jim Backhus
