This approved reroute project is constructing approximately 2,500 feet of new trail to reroute the Tahoe Rim Trail off of a dirt road and much of an abandoned road prism and onto sustainable single track trail that meets USFS standards. This project is one part of the larger effort by the Tahoe Rim Trail Association and the United States Forest Service to reroute the Tahoe Rim Trail off of dirt roads and onto sustainable single track. This project is expected to be completed by late summer 2021.
