Re-Supply Information

Below, thru hikers and other long-distance travelers can find suggested locations to access re-supply packages and goods. When sending packages remember to label them with your name, phone number, and an estimated date of pick up. Along with the above information, packages sent to US Post Offices can be labelled “General Delivery” and be picked up during normal business hours. When sending a package to a merchant, always confirm before sending anything that they are willing to accept packages.

Package Pick-Up Locations

Resupply Access from Trailheads

  • Tahoe City– The trailhead at 64 Acre Park is shared with the Transit Center where you can access public transportation to anywhere in Tahoe City and connect with transit to other locations. Amenities including lodging, restaurants, full-service grocery stores, and gear shops are within walking distance from the trailhead. Alpenglow Sports may accept re-supply packages but contact them ahead of time for confirmation.
  • Brockway Summit– The trailhead is within a 5-mile drive to Kings Beach, CA which has lodging, restaurants, and a full-service grocery store.
  • Mount Rose Summit – The trailhead is within a 5-mile drive to Incline Village, NV which has lodging, restaurants, full-service grocery stores, and gear shops.
  • Kingsbury South Trailhead– From the trailhead, Tramway Market, a convenience store, is a 0.8-mile walk and may accept packages if you call ahead.
  • Echo Summit – The trailhead is within a 5-mile drive of Meyers, CA which has restaurants and a full-service grocery store.
  • Echo LakesEcho Chalet is a seasonal general store with limited supplies located directly next to the trail. Note that Echo Chalet does NOT accept hiker packages.
