Squawk Talk: Bird Trek with TINS

September 12, 2023 @ 8:00 am

Cost: Free

Guided Educational Day Hikes in Lake Tahoe with TINS

Details

Description

Join TINS naturalist, Sarah Hockensmith, as she leads the way in search of birds in the fall to discuss and watch firsthand their physical characteristics and behavior. You’ll walk away from this trek with a better knowledge of what kinds of birds live and migrate through Tahoe, the low-down on great birding destinations in the Tahoe Basin, and some worthy photos.

This three-mile, easy, out-and-back trek is family-friendly and appropriate for ages 12 and up.

What to Expect

TRTA/TINS treks are group treks, and we do our best to keep the group together. All trek leaders dedicate a great deal of their time throughout the year sharing their passion for the outdoors. They are well-trained and experienced. Please respect their decisions made on the trail.
