Brockway Summit Trail Workday

Hi TRTA Guides!

We’d love to have you join us for trail maintenance to help make the trail you love more sustainable and enjoyable for everyone!

The day will start at 9:00 AM at Brockway Summit and wrap up by 4:00 PM. The TRTA will provide all necessary equipment, including hard hats, tools, eye protection, and gloves.

Expect a ~6-mile roundtrip hike with both uphill and downhill sections, uneven terrain, and the possibility of carrying tools or supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. Be prepared to get dirty as you contribute to maintaining these beautiful trails.

What to bring:

• Long-sleeve shirt and pants (required for participation)
• Sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots
• Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain jacket, etc.)
• A daypack (or backpacking pack if preferred)
• 3-4 liters of water
• Lunch and snacks for yourself
