Description

Calling all TRTA Members! Experience the beauty that the sky offers in Lake Tahoe on this sunset/full moonrise hike. We will hike a little over a mile on the TRT, which winds up through a beautiful wooded forest up to a stunning vista. Complimentary wine, cheese, and other goodies will be served at our destination viewpoint, Picnic Rock, as we watch the sunset and Harvest moonrise within minutes of each other and thank our members for their support.

What to Expect

TRTA outings are group outings, and we do our best to keep the group together. Trip leaders dedicate much of their time throughout the year, sharing their passion for the outdoors. They are well-trained and experienced. Please respect their decisions made on the trail.

COVID-19 Policy

A COVID-19 screening will be conducted at the trailhead. Do not attempt to join if you have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms as outlined by the Center for Disease Control within 10 days of the trek: shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, cough, congestion, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste, or smell.

• Personal Medications/Epi-Pen*
• Communicate pertinent medical issues in a private conversation with your guides at the trailhead.
