Description
Join us for a beautiful snowshoe trek through the forest with our TRTA guides. This scenic snowshoe trek will take you to viewpoints south/west of Tahoe Meadows and along the Tahoe Basin ridgeline. Don’t forget your camera! There will be plenty of great photo opportunities to capture Lake Tahoe’s west and north shores and the distant mountains of Twin Peaks and Barker Pass at the top during the beautiful afternoon lighting. This hike takes place at nearly 9000′ elevation, so come prepared for physical activity at high elevation.
What to Expect
TRTA outings are group outings, and we do our best to keep the group together. Trip leaders dedicate much of their time throughout the year sharing their passion for the outdoors. They are well-trained and experienced. Please respect the decisions made on the trail.
