Tunnel Creek Trail Work Day

Join the TRTA’s efforts in increasing the trail corridor by brushing and lopping near Tunnel Creek!

The day will start at 9:00 AM near Tunnel Creek and wrap up by 4:00 PM. The TRTA will provide all necessary equipment, including hard hats, tools, eye protection, and gloves.

Expect an 8-mile roundtrip hike with both uphill and downhill sections, uneven terrain, and the possibility of carrying tools or supplies weighing up to 25 lbs. Be prepared to get dirty as you contribute to maintaining these beautiful trails.

Age 16+. Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What to bring:

• Long-sleeve shirt and pants (required for participation)
• Sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots
• Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain jacket, etc.)
• A daypack (or backpacking pack if preferred)
• 3-4 liters of water
• Lunch and snacks for yourself
