Fly through a winter wonderland on skis at a snowy excursion hosted by TINS and the TRTA. Spend the morning on cross-country skis gliding through forests around Spooner Lake on Tahoe's East Shore. We will take breaks periodically to learn about forest ecology while talking about the plants and animals that make up Tahoe's wintery ecosystem.

The Tahoe Rim Trail Association is hosting a two-day Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course taught by NOLS Wilderness Medicine. This course will provide individuals with a foundation in important first aid concepts critical to responding effectively to emergencies in a remote backcountry environment.
