This trek will be a leisurely snowshoe from the Echo Lake Sno-Park to Lower Echo Lake. Along the way, our experts and friends at the Sugar Pine Foundation will reveal the mysterious world of trees. No snowshoes? No problem! Just let us know, and we'll bring a pair for you.
Fly through a winter wonderland on skis at a snowy excursion hosted by TINS and the TRTA. Spend the morning on cross-country skis gliding through forests around Spooner Lake on Tahoe's East Shore. We will take breaks periodically to learn about forest ecology while talking about the plants and animals that make up Tahoe's wintery ecosystem.
