This approved trailhead reconstruction project will rebuild the Brockway West trailhead on Highway 267 on the Tahoe Basin side of Brockway Summit. The existing trailhead does not adequately direct trail users to the trail, provide a safe surface for trail users, or prevent erosion and trampling of vegetation. The current conditions are unsightly, detract from the trail experience, and cause negative resource impacts.
