
Gather your group, business, students, or family for a rewarding day of trail work on the breathtaking Tahoe Rim Trail!
Enjoy a hands-on experience where you’ll learn new skills, bond with your team, and make a meaningful impact on the community—all while spending time outdoors.
When: Trail workdays are typically 9:00am to 4:00pm and run from June through mid-October.
What: Crew leads will supply tools, safety equipment, and instruction. Work varies widely depending on the project, but can include cutting back vegetation, restoring eroded trail, constructing trail features or digging trail sidehill.
Who: Eager adults and youth who able to understand and abide by TRTA safety precautions are welcome to join workdays.
Requirements for volunteers under 18:
-16 and 17 year olds may join a workday with a parent/guardian permission form
-12-16 year olds must be accompanied by one adult for every 4 youth
-and those under 12 years old must be accompanied by one adult for every child
