A Tahoe Rim Trail Tradition
Join the TRTA for an overnight trail work camp and experience the fun, food, and satisfaction that keeps our volunteers coming back year after year. We’ve been hosting multi-day, overnight camps for nearly 30 years and have a blast every time. It’s tradition here at the TRTA and a great way to meet new people, work up a sweat, enjoy a few nights out under the stars, and show your appreciation and support for the Tahoe Rim Trail. TRTA overnight trail work camps come in several formats. We host frontcountry camps that volunteers can drive to, backcountry camps that are hosted in more remote locations and require backpacking into worksites, and shorter weekender camps for our weekend warriors working Monday through Friday.
