Are you up for it?
We are recruiting volunteers to help reach trail users and share their love of trails and passion for sustainable recreation. Signage and enforcement efforts are increasing around the lake, but your friendly face nicely asking our trail users to Take Care will have the greatest impact of all.
To safely and sustainably enjoy the outdoors requires basic skills and knowledge. You can help us provide those essential skills to trail users at TRT Trailheads this summer. As a Trail Ambassador, you’ll set up a booth at trailheads this summer on busy weekends and holidays to intercept trail users and provide information about trail conditions, fire restrictions, water sources, and best practices for a fun and safe outdoor experience. We will provide volunteers with training on how to effectively engage with trail users, all of the equipment needed to set up a trailhead booth, and a fun and fulfilling way to give back to the trail and community.
