Tahoe Rim Trail Talk: Regeneration of White Pines, Reforestation, and the Effects of Fire

The Sugar Pine Foundation (SPF) is a local non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the natural regeneration of white pines in the Tahoe Region and beyond. The Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA) is the primary steward of the Tahoe Rim Trail (TRT) System. Together, our organizations partner to provide educational experiences across the Tahoe Rim Trail and throughout the Basin. At this presentation, discover how SPF is helping to ensure healthier forests for future generations. Learn about wildfire effects on the soil and trees and what to expect as burn scars revegetate. This presentation is also an opportunity to learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities and events!
