9/26 Tahoe Meadows Brushing Workday

Join us for a workday on the Tahoe Rim Trail!

Project:

We will be brushing and repairing the trail tread on the Tahoe Rim Trail headed South from Tahoe Meadows.

Difficulty:

This workday will include a roughly 8 mile round trip hike and using hand tools to brush and dig tread.

You Bring:

• Long-sleeved shirt and pants (required for participation)
• Sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots (required for participation)
• Eye protection/sunglasses
• Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, etc.)
• Daypack
• 3-4 liters/100+ ounces of water
• Lunch and snacks
• Work gloves (we have some if you don’t!)

We Supply:

• Leadership, instruction, and enthusiasm!
• Tools
• Gloves, hard hats, and eye protection

Come out and help maintain a beautiful trail!
