Trail Work Information
Project:
Helps us widen the trail corridor of the Tahoe Rim Trail near Snow Valley Peak. This workday will provide some of the best views of the Tahoe Basin!
Difficulty:
We will meet in Spooner State Park, carpool to the North Canyon Trail and then hike about two miles with moderately difficult uphill to the start of the work site. Elevation will be above 8,000 feet.
You Bring:
- Long-sleeved shirt and pants (required for participation)
- Sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots (required for participation)
- Eye protection/sunglasses
- Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, etc.)
- Daypack
- 3-4 liters/100+ ounces of water
- Lunch and snacks
- Work gloves (we have some if you don’t!)
We Supply:
- Leadership, instruction, and enthusiasm!
- Tools
- Gloves, hard hats, and eye protection
