9/26 Tahoe Meadows Brushing Workday

Join us for a workday on the Tahoe Rim Trail!

Project:

We will be brushing a section of trail near Tahoe Meadows to improve sightlines and to widen the trail corridor.

Difficulty:

This workday will include a hike from the Tahoe Meadows Trailhead with under 100 feet of ascent. Work will include lopping and sawing.

You Bring:

• Long-sleeved shirt and pants (required for participation)
• Sturdy, close-toed shoes or boots (required for participation)
• Eye protection/sunglasses
• Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, sunscreen, rain jacket, etc.)
• Daypack
• 3-4 liters/100+ ounces of water
• Lunch and snacks
• Work gloves (we have some if you don’t!)

We Supply:

• Leadership, instruction, and enthusiasm!
• Tools
• Gloves, hard hats, and eye protection

Come out and help maintain a beautiful trail!
